L'Info Inrocks + General Elektriks.

L'info d'abords/The news first:

Yesterday I went to the Inrocks' Villa in Cannes. I saw there two bands: we are ENFANT TERRIBLE and Brigitte. Both really different, but as percussive in Live. We are ENFANT TERRIBLE for his special 8-bit sounds, and Brigitte for her retro styles. I'll do two separate articles for tomorow. In addition, I interviewed one of them. Surprise for Saturday.

Hier je suis allé à la villa des Inrocks à Cannes. J'y ai vu deux groupes: we are ENFANT TERRIBLE et Brigitte. Tous les deux très différents, mais aussi percutants en Live l'un que l'autre. Autant we are ENFANT TERRIBLE pour ses sons 8-bit très particuliers, que Brigitte pour son côté retro à mort. Bref, je ferai deux articles différents pour demain. En plus j'ai interviewé l'un des deux groupes. Surprise pour Samedi.

But lets talk about today. The song of the day is from a french who we don't talk enaught. It's General Elektriks. RV salter (General Elektriks) who left France some years ago played with many artists like: Seb Martel, Thierry Stremler, Femi Kuti, Mathieu Chédid, or bands: Blackalicious, Lyrics Born Lifesavas, and others... His sounds? it's the reasult of a life of antiquing in flea markets, antiquarians, to find some really rare synthetizers. Anyway, I chose Raid The Radio from the album Good City For Dreamers (2009) of General Elektriks as the song of the day, but you won't regret to listen to the whole album. In HERE you can do it. Et sinon, la chanson du jour est celle d'un français dont encore une fois on ne parle par assez. C'est bien sûr General Elektriks. Le français qui c'est exporté aux USA a joué au côté de beaucoup d'artistes, tel que: Seb Martel, Thierry Stremler, Femi Kuti, Mathieu Chédid, ou avec des groupes comme Blackalicious, Lyrics Born Lifesavas, et autres... Ses sons? c'est le fruit d'une vie de chinage de synthé anciens en brocantes, antiquités et autres, qu'on peut classifier de pièces rares. Bref, j'ai choisie Raid The Radio de l'album Good City For Dreamers (2009) de RV (hervé?) Salter allias General Elektriks comme chanson du jour, mais écoutez tout l'album, vous ne serrez pas déçu.
